Please note: eligibility is not guaranteed and is subject to a free home assessment.

What is the Warm Homes Grant?

The Warm Homes Grant is designed to support households to improve their energy efficiency, reduce energy bills, and make homes warmer and more comfortable.

To confirm eligibility, your property must undergo a free home assessment — there is absolutely no cost to you.

Eligibility Information

This leaflet has been sent because your property is currently recorded as EPC rating D–F. Properties rated C or above are not eligible.

EPC Rating D–F Required

Your property must have an EPC rating of D or below. Homes rated C or above are not eligible. The only way to confirm is through the free assessment.

Assessment-Based Only

Some homes may be reclassified after assessment and become ineligible. Not all households in your area will receive this leaflet.

Limited Funding Available

Funding is limited and not all households will qualify. You must respond to proceed with your application.

Your EPC rating determines eligibility. This leaflet is sent only to EPC D–F rated properties.

What Could You Receive?

Subject to your property's EPC rating and Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) score, improvements may include the following.

Who Can Take Part?

This scheme is for homes with an EPC rating of D or below. Homes rated C or above aren't eligible, but the only way to confirm is through the free assessment.

You can receive a free home energy assessment, where a qualified assessor will look at your property and identify whether it could benefit from improvements such as:

There's no cost to you for the assessment, and if your home qualifies, any agreed work will also be fully funded.
