Warm Space Support
Rising energy costs and colder weather shouldn't mean facing the winter alone. MECC Trust offers a welcoming Warm Space where anyone from the community can come to stay warm, relax, and feel part of something supportive.
No booking required. Simply drop in during opening hours and you'll be welcomed with warmth and kindness.
A comfortable, indoor space that's warm, clean, and safe for all visitors throughout the winter months.
Enjoy complimentary tea and coffee whenever you visit — a small comfort that makes a big difference.
Meet others, share a conversation, and reduce loneliness and isolation in a truly inclusive atmosphere.
Access local advice, community information, and referrals to support services right from our Warm Space.
A friendly, inclusive environment where every visitor is treated with kindness and genuine respect.
Whether you want to sit quietly, read, socialise, or simply rest for a few hours — you're always welcome.
Our Warm Space is open five days a week throughout the winter period. You don't need to register, call ahead, or make an appointment.
Whether you'd like to stay for 20 minutes or a few hours, you are welcome at any time during our opening hours.
MECC Trust is proud to collaborate with local community organisations and faith groups to grow a network of Warm Spaces right across the area — ensuring support is accessible to everyone, close to home.
You will always be welcomed with kindness and respect — whoever you are, whatever you need.
Whether you would like to stay for a short visit, enjoy a hot drink, meet others, or simply spend a few hours in a comfortable and warm environment — our doors are open to you.
If you or someone you know could benefit from our Warm Space, please do come along. We are here to support our community together.
During pre-arranged events, Warm Space availability may be limited. Management reserves the right to refuse entry and amend opening times or access arrangements where necessary. We appreciate your understanding.
